Journal
I couldn't really decide which journal to choose yet. I first checked out the Afterall link, and the current issue's foreword pulled me in. It was discussing the evolution of 'madness' in our society, but I didn't want to just choose the first one I looked at. The next one that I thought I could potentially follow was the Senses of Cinema journal, which had an article about the British Documentary Movement that I could find myself reading. The third and final one that I have narrowed it down to was Vectors Journal. It seems like its a non-linear site that could have a lot of great potential. I drew a line that lead me to an article on Difference from the Fall 2007 issue. I think I'll just keep my eye on all of them for awhile and see which one I end up drifting towards.

NIck - what a trio. Glad you checked them all out, but that could make for a very full semester, reading all three of these journals. Are you still keeping them up in the air?
Your call - if you want to write about your encounters about all three journals, that's fine by me. It's be interesting to see you put them in conversation with each other. Have you seen the new guidelines for the next round of blogs? (On the D2L site; blogs due by 10/29). The new guidelines ask for you to write about 2 articles from the journal you selected. If you wanted to write about one from each - that's fine by me.
I may be a bit concerned about your time. Do you have the time to peruse all three? If you'd like to follow just one, I'd ask: which one do you find yourself turning to the most? That might be the best indicator for which journal you should hitch your wagon to.
An intriguing dilemma; I look forward to your posts.
